“You Have To Read To Write…”
They say you have to read to write, but I’ve had a hard time getting back into my reading habit since moving back to Oregon. I’ve realized recently that audio books may be the way to go for me, at least for the time being, and I’ve been devouring them. This is what I have listened to in the last month and a half.
Talking As Fast As I Can – Lauren Graham
Scrappy Little Nobody – Anna Kendrick
The Princess Diarist – Carrie Fisher (I couldn’t finish this, it was making me too sad. I got 1/2-2/3rds through.)
They Do It With Mirrors – Agatha Christie
Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them – JK Rowling
The Screwtape Letters – C.S. Lewis
Tests From Jane Eyre – Mallory Ortberg
Grace & Style: The Art Of Pretending You Have It – Grace Helbig
I’m working on:
Imprudence – Gail Carriger
The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days In Afghanistan And Pakistan – Kim Barker
Without Rival – Lisa Bevere
The Art Of Writing And The Gifts Of Writers – C.S. Lewis
Reflections On The Psalms – C.S. Lewis
The Journal Of Best Practices – David Finch
Too Loud, Too Bright, Too Fast, Too Tight – Sharon Heller
There are more, but this list is getting LONG. That’s probably enough of a list for now, and it is ordered from next due to the library to furthest return date. Also, I did not realize I had read 7 books in the last month and a half. BAM! My book habit is back apparently.
